Right away, these are some funky-looking fins – and not in a bad way! They offer a blade fin with efficiency of the split fin. The fact they operate like a split fin displays the effort that’s gone into the design.
If you really want to stand out on your dives, these are the fins you’re going to want to invest in. If you don’t fancy a bright shade of yellow or pink, you can opt for something a little more neutral in black.
Colour aside, the fins are impressively made. They are nicely robust, which is obviously going to be a big factor when you start taking to the tougher currents. The blade design is impressive, too, a tough, shovel-nose – which the product marketing says should help with stability and power.
The heel is nice and comfy, and very easy to manage. There’s a really nice balance between rigidity and manoeuvre here, which is something you don’t always get with modern fins.
But enough about the first impressions – how do the fins actually do when you take them to the water?
